Hope Fear Faith Event
Newcastle University Islamic Society & Northumbria University Islamic Society, Alongside likeMEDIA.tv & Islamic Relief, proudly present Hope, Fear, Faith. A night of Spoken Word and Poetry with Boona Mohammad, Kamal Saleh and Tommy ‘A-Man’ Evans in order to raise money for those living in poverty.
For many, the threat of poverty is constant. The test for the needy comes in the shape of three things that they live with – hope, fear, faith. Hope of a brighter tomorrow. Fear bro…ught about by the need for survival. Faith that God and believers in God will not abandon them. The test for us is to facilitate hope, remove fear and restore faith the needy hold in humanity.
likeMEDIA.tv are organising a special poetry night in aid of Islamic Relief. We have invited Boonaa Mohammed, Kamal Saleh and Tommy ‘A-Man’ Evans to perform a range of poems across the ‘Hope, Fear’ Faith’ spectrum on a nine city tour of England. Tickets for the event are £5 each and doors open at 6.30pm – with all proceeds going to charity.
When: Tuesday 10th May at 6:30pm.
Venue: Northumbria University, Room Ebb01, Ellison Building Basement 1, Newcastle Upon Tyne NE1 8ST
