Donate to Newcastle University Islamic Society
To provide our many services to Muslim students & staff at Newcastle University, as well as maintaining the Muslim Prayer Space, we rely on charitable donations from our students & community.
If you are a Newcastle University student, please:
- go to the ISOC page of the Student Union website. Click here
- press Log On to enter your NUSU account
- return to the ISOC page – now you will find a donation button under the “Shop” headline. Press the appropriate button to donate.
Ramdan Iftar Donation
The Prophet said “Whoever feeds a person breaking his fast will earn the same reward as him, without anything being lessened from the reward of the fasting person” [Sunan Ibn Majah]
If you’d like to donate to Newcastle University ISoc Ramadan Iftar (applicable to all, Newcastle affiliated or otherwise)
- Go to Islamic Society NUSU website: Click Here
- Scroll down until you see “Memberships & Shop”.
- Select one of the payment options under “Memberships and Shops”:
- £5.99 : Feed 1 fasting person for 1 day
- £39.99 : Feed 1 fasting person for 1 week
- £179.99 : Feed 1 fasting person for 1 month
- £699.99 : Sponsor the whole iftar for 1 day
- Once selected, click “add to basket”. If you want to purchase more, click “add to basket” again.
- Click on the basket icon.
- Click “proceed to payment”.
- Enter your billing address and card details. Click pay now.
- If your payment is successful you should see “Success. Your payment was successful.” Jazaakumullaahu Khairan, may Allah accept your efforts!
