Here at ISoc we aim to provide a balance of social, educational and outreach activities.
Regular Socials
We have regular social activities, such as bowling, buffet dinners, go-karting, fifa nights and many more. Don’t forget our massive end-of-year theme park trip to blow off some steam! They provide a brilliant opportunity to make lifelong friends and companions.
Educational Classes
At University, it’s also important to stay on top of your Islamic knowledge. That’s why each year the ISoc provides a unique mix of classes on topics ranging from Qur’an, Tafsir, Tajwid, Great Islamic Personalities, Da’wah training, Arabic sessions, Seerah classes & more! We’re passionate about delivering these classes at a relaxed pace to make them a fun and enjoyable addition to your normal studies.

Fresher’s Week

Charity Week
Looking to earn the reward of raising money for those in need? Join us in Charity Week, where you can volunteer in raising money for those in need. Check out our evening challenges, like FIFA night, Quiz night and Charity Week dinner.
Discover Islam Week
A whole week dedicated to giving Da’wah to fellow students & community members. With expert Da’wah training, build the skills of Da’wah delivery as well as get involved with Newcastle University’s biggest faith event!
