How to Join?

And have all this:
- You can be involved with all of our events throughout the year, with regular sports activities, social events and study circles.
- You will get discounts on all of our events, trips and activities. A few examples of some of the very popular trips we have had in the past include; Flamingo Land, York and Edinburgh.
- As an ISOC member, you will receive an amazing discount card, with discounts on local restaurants, cafes and shops.
- You will contribute to our large numbers on campus, which means we are allowed to keep our Prayer space with an ongoing drive to improve it.
- And lastly, but most importantly, it is an amazing way for you to connect with your religion and deepen your relationship with Allah (swt).

Steps to Join:
- Go to https://www.nusu.co.uk/getinvolved/societies/society/7017/
- Go to the Log in button in upper right corner of the page.
- You will redirected to the following page choose between Student or Staff Login
- Login using your university username and password
- You will be redirected to the Islamic Society page, click on Add to basket next to “Islamic standard membership £5”
- Click on the basket icon on the top middle of the page then Review basket
- Add the insurance £5 (this fee is charged by the Student Union regardless of which society you join. It is paid only once regardless of how many societies you join).
- You will be asked to pay the total fee for joining all societies you selected (Islamic is £5, plus £5 for insurance)
- Click Proceed to check out
- In the next page:
- Fill the billing address.
- Then click Pay now
- Select the payment method you will use
- In the next page
- Enter your card details
- Click Proceed
If everything is alright, you should now see a page reading ‘Transaction detail Ref’ and you will receive an email to confirm this transaction within a minute. Congratulations – you are now a member of the ISoc!
